The DR590W-2CH IR records Full HD 1080p videos of the front and interior of your car at 30 frames per second, in a 139-degree wide view angle (interior 140 degrees).
With the front camera’s Sony STARVIS™ imaging sensor, you get awesome image clarity day and night.
The interior infrared camera records clear videos even in complete darkness thanks to its discreet infrared illumination LEDs.

Interior Infrared Camera

The Interior IR Full HD camera is equipped with an illumination sensor and infrared LED which light is barely visible to the eye.
These allow the capture of clear images in pitch black lighting conditions.

Set up (easily) and forget

BlackVue dash cams are very easy to install. Attach the front unit to the windshield behind the rear view mirror with the provided double-sided tape. This way, the dash cam is invisible to the driver’s eye. The interior camera faces the driver, ideally above the rear view mirror and connects to the front unit with the included video cable.
Simply plug the power cords into the cigarette lighter / accessory power socket of your vehicle and it will automatically start recording as you turn ignition on.
Once set, you can forget about it, knowing it will reliably record your drive.

Parking Mode Support

The DR590W-2CH IR is compatible with Parking Mode. In Parking Mode, your dash cam monitors your parked vehicle, recording videos when it detects movement or impact. It also includes the few seconds before the triggering event, thanks to buffered recording. You will need a Power Magic Pro or Power Magic Battery Pack to enable this feature. Secure Memory Management

Loop Recording: your dash cam records over the oldest video files first when the microSD card is full, in a seamless loop.

Adaptive Format-Free Technology: your BlackVue saves and organizes files on the microSD card in a highly efficient way.
It reduces the need for formatting the card and prevents file corruption even after multiple write cycles.

Manage Videos Easily with the BlackVue App and Viewer

The BlackVue App (iOS/Android) and Viewer (Windows/Mac OS) are free to download and use.
Both allow you to change settings and review videos sorted by time and type (Normal/Event/Parking).
With the BlackVue App, connect via Wi-Fi to your dash cam to retrieve videos on the spot.

External GPS Receiver (Optional)

The External GPS Receiver (G-1E) adds speed and location data to your videos.
Speed: speed data–in Km/h or Mph–will be overlaid in the video (can be turned off in the settings).
Location: you can visualize the location of your vehicle in the BlackVue Viewer’s Map during video playback.
